Our client is a Top 100 accountancy firm. Headquartered in Leeds, they have offices in London, Hertfordshire and North Yorkshire. As part of the next stage of development, they seek a corporate tax director. This role can be based from any of the offices in the network and there is likely to be travel to other offices.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the corporate tax compliance team with complex technical queries and leading on a variety of advisory projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about tax, committed to developing others, and ready to make a tangible contribution to the future growth and success of the firm – both regionally and nationally. It would suit a senior manager or existing director who enjoys technical corporate tax work for growing owner managed businesses.

Day to day this will include:

  • Tax Advisory Projects: Lead and support on a wide range of advisory assignments including restructures, group planning, transactions, international tax issues, and R&D claims.
  • Business Development: Play an active role in networking, attending industry events, preparing proposals, and identifying new business opportunities – both independently and in collaboration with other service lines.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Support and develop a growing team, acting as a mentor and technical coach. Share your expertise in corporation tax and encourage knowledge sharing across the service line.
  • Client Management: Build strong client relationships, proactively responding to needs, providing timely updates, and delivering high-quality planning and advisory services.
  • Team & Project Management: Lead engagements, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate team efforts to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

It is likely that you will have a relevant professional qualification (ACA, CTA, ICAS or equivalent). Hybrid and flexible working available.
