Our client is a multi-award winning, large independent firm with an established tax team. They deal with a diverse client base that ranges from dynamic OMB's to large corporate groups. As part of their expansion they seek a qualified Corporate M & A/Deals Tax Director. This role could be based from the Cheltenham or Cardiff office and day to day your role would include:
- Highlighting key tax risks arising and advising on tax warranties and indemnities required.
- Reviewing taxation implications of sale and purchase agreements.
- Helping to co-ordinate, develop and deliver tax due diligence reviews on target businesses and for vendor due diligence assignments.
- Knowledge of pre-disposal reviews of the tax aspects of businesses for which sales mandates are held.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of corporate and group re-organisations whilst being able to articulate this to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Understanding the tax aspects of transaction structures and potentially advising on optimal tax planning strategies.
