The Department of Cultural and Behavioral Sciences at Georgia State University Perimeter College offers pathways of study focused on how humans interact behaviorally, geographically, instructionally, socially, and culturally. Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in HUMAN GEOGRAPHY who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
- Required Education: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
- Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to teach HUMAN GEOGRAPHY courses on the collegiate level.
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
- Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
Work Hours: Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon, and evening including weekends.
Salary: $2,100.00 for each 3 Semester Credit Hour Course Taught.
