Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician at our Trey facility in West Chester, OH. We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical expertise to support safe operation and equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventive and corrective maintenance.

Salary: $34.50 per hour – up to $40 per hour depending on level of experience. 2nd and 3rd Shift Differential: $2 per hour (total $36.50 – $42 per hour).

Shift: Must be available and flexible to work extended shifts, flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. The first 2 weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am – 3pm). You will move to your assigned shift after orientation. This role works 6 days a week.

Location: 9048 Port Union Rialto Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069.

What You Will Do:

  • Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability.
  • Perform routine scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to unscheduled floor calls, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with a sense of urgency.
  • Collaborate with a knowledgeable maintenance team and communicative leadership.
  • Inspect, repair, or analyze mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and testing instruments.
  • Support our safe working environment by adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Willing and able to work any shift, holiday, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Critically problem-solve with team members to solve complicated and challenging problems.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting electric motors up to 480V and electrical components (relays, switches, drives, input and output cards).
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, fluid, steam, and pneumatics.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Two (2) or more years of corrugated maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance degree.
