SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Mix Batcher is responsible for mixing of mill ingredients and ration batches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Run multiple pieces of equipment used in the feed mill.
  • Monitor ingredients inventory levels.
  • Manufacture product to ensure specifications and HACCP requirements are met.
  • Grease and lubricate machinery.
  • Maintain a clean environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pound bags.
  • Adjust machines as needed.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Oversee computer automation and operate the computer.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication & division
  • Experience in production related work
