Are you a natural quality leader who’s passionate about operational excellence, compliance, and culture change? We’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to drive continuous improvement across engineering, manufacturing, and customer support. If you're ready to lead from the front and make quality more than just a tick-box exercise — this one’s for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the UK quality team while overseeing compliance across international offices in the US, Asia, and Brazil
  • Shaping and delivering a companywide quality vision, strategy, and culture
  • Representing quality at board level — internally and with external auditors, suppliers, and customers
  • Maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification and developing the QMS to meet international standards and regulatory requirements (RoHS, ATEX, WEEE, etc.)
  • Championing a "quality in all that we do" mindset across every department and touchpoint
  • Driving measurable improvements in product reliability, internal processes, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Rolling out business process mapping and KPI tracking across key functions like Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Support
  • Managing the FRACAS system to track trends and feed data-driven decisions
  • Coaching internal "Quality Champions" throughout the business to embed best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • A hands-on quality leader with 10+ years in a technical, commercial environment — ideally across design, engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams
  • Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards
  • Proven experience in transforming quality culture and driving operational improvement
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align quality initiatives with broader business objectives
  • Confident communicator at every level — from technicians to boardroom
  • Strong leadership style — able to coach, challenge, and collaborate in equal measure

Bonus points for:

  • Quality-related qualifications (CQI, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.)
  • Experience with business process mapping and culture change programs
  • Project management skills and multi-disciplinary team leadership
  • Familiarity with EFQM or other business excellence frameworks

Why this role?

You’ll be shaping the quality strategy for a global business with a strong technical foundation. This is more than an audit-and-inspection role — it’s about leading transformation, championing high standards, and making a lasting impact across international teams.
