One of our clients is seeking an experienced Tax Director to join their US/UK Cross-Border Tax team in London, working with High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, and estates on sophisticated international tax matters.

Role Overview
As a Tax Director, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of clients with complex US and UK tax affairs while driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and supporting the continued development of a market-leading US/UK Cross-Border Tax practice. This role combines technical excellence, commercial leadership, and people management, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within one of the industry's leading private client teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex US/UK cross-border tax advisory and compliance engagements.
- Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, estates, and other internationally focused private clients.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while acting as a trusted advisor.
- Drive business development opportunities through your network and collaboration across the firm's service lines.
- Deliver technically complex consulting projects with a practical, commercial approach.
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers and junior team members.
- Contribute to the strategic and operational leadership of the US/UK Cross-Border Tax team.
- Support team growth, retention, and talent development initiatives.
- Oversee portfolio management, financial performance, and engagement delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience at Director level or within a similar leadership position in professional services.
- Strong technical expertise across US and UK private client taxation.
- Proven experience advising High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, and estates on complex cross-border tax matters.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
