One of our clients is seeking an experienced Tax Director to join their US/UK Cross-Border Tax team in London, working with High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, and estates on sophisticated international tax matters.

Role Overview As a Tax Director, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of clients with complex US and UK tax affairs while driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and supporting the continued development of a market-leading US/UK Cross-Border Tax practice.

This role combines technical excellence, commercial leadership, and people management, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within one of the industry's leading private client teams.

What You'll Do Lead complex US/UK cross-border tax advisory and compliance engagements.

Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, estates, and other internationally focused private clients.

Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while acting as a trusted advisor.

Drive business development opportunities through your network and collaboration across the firm's service lines.

Deliver technically complex consulting projects with a practical, commercial approach.

Coach, mentor, and develop managers and junior team members.

Contribute to the strategic and operational leadership of the US/UK Cross-Border Tax team.

Support team growth, retention, and talent development initiatives.

Oversee portfolio management, financial performance, and engagement delivery.

What We're Looking For Significant experience at Director level or within a similar leadership position in professional services.

Strong technical expertise across US and UK private client taxation.

Proven experience advising High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, and estates on complex cross-border tax matters.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.

Strong business development and commercial leadership skills.

Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Strong organisational, project management, and commercial acumen.
