An opportunity for a Senior Teacher of Mathematics has become available on a permanent, full-time basis effective August 2026.

Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to use ICT to enhance teaching and learning. Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

  • Teaching Advanced Higher classes, including Pure, Mathematics of Mechanics and Statistics would be valuable.
  • Teaching A Level Further Maths content beyond the Advanced Higher curriculum is also valued.
  • Preparing candidates for STEP, TMUE and other University entrance qualifications.
  • Preparing candidates for UKMT competitions including the Mathematics Olympiad.
  • Additional Support for Learning and working with pupils that require specialist intervention and support.
