The Role
St Leonards is seeking an energetic, proactive Engagement Officer to champion our alumni (Seniors) and parent relations.
You will build global connections, manage inspiring events, and drive meaningful fundraising campaigns.

- What You Will Deliver
- Grow our alumni network through warm outreach, newsletters, and social media.
- Plan and run reunions, regional gatherings, and celebration dinners.
- Coordinate the regular giving and annual fund programmes.
- Act as the champion for our Hub Spot CRM, keeping alumni and parent records accurate and GDPR‑compliant.
- Connect alumni with classrooms for mentoring, careers talks, and work experience.
- Play a central role in our upcoming 150th Anniversary Campaign.
You will ensure that the Senior and parent communities feel genuinely connected to the life of the school, not only as a source of philanthropic support, but because an engaged alumni network is a living expression of the school’s values and a meaningful resource for current pupils.
What We Are Looking For
Education & Experience
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record in community engagement, alumni relations, or events management.
- Hands‑on experience managing a CRM database (Hub Spot is a major plus).
- Understanding of GDPR regulations for data management.
- Key Skills
- Highly organised multitasker who thrives on deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail in data and event logistics.
- Warm, confident, and collaborative communicator.
- Tech‑savvy with experience in digital marketing and Google Workspace.
- Genuine interest in the history, values, and community of independent schools.
