Loretto School is one of Britain’s leading independent boarding and day schools located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We are looking for an Assistant Registrar with experience of delivering exceptional customer care to join our team.

Main Purpose of the Role

This is a key role responsible for guiding families through their Admissions journey from the first contact through to joining the School, working closely with colleagues in the Admissions Team and reporting to the Head of Admissions.

Duties include:

  • Representing the School nationally and internationally at school fairs, shows and events.
  • Guiding families through the Admissions process from first contact to the day they start at school.
  • Supporting the Admissions Team in managing, organising, promoting and attending open events.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to all prospective families.
  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with agents.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in high end customer facing role.
  • Warm, engaging communication style with the ability to build a rapport quickly with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with excellent time management.
  • Experience of working in a private school is desirable, but not essential.

This is a full‑time, permanent post working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some weekend and evening work is required. Salary band in the region of £28,000.
