Maintenance/Premises Technician – Handyman

Full time, 37 hours per week

NJC 18 to 22 (Actual salary £31,537 – £33,699)

We are looking to appoint a Maintenance/Premises Technician Handyman who will work with the Site and Facilities team on a daily basis. They will help to ensure the smooth running of the Academy premises and the safe operation of the site. The role will suit somebody who has a positive attitude, a flexible approach and is able to work under their own initiative. The successful candidate will have experience in maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance. They will also be willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Site and Facilities team on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the Academy premises and the safe operation of the site.
  • Perform maintenance tasks with skills in carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance.
  • Be willing to learn new skills as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a positive attitude and flexible approach.
