As Junior 3D Designer you will be working across several areas of the creative department reporting to the 3D Creative Lead. You will work closely with 2D and technical disciplines working on varied projects to help guide and bring the creative ideas to life. Becoming part of the wider team and continually expressing your creativity to all the tasks required.
Key Responsibilities
- Becoming instrumental in the overall design for everything from exhibition stands, stage sets and other 3D environments.
- Bringing creative ideas to life with sketches, 3D models, plans, elevations and presentations.
- Become part of a team to work alongside other creatives and technical on projects from concepts through to delivery.
- Briefing other designers, including 2D and 3D freelancers, in order to manage busy periods of workload. In these situations.
- You will be required to maintain the creative solution that you have been given in conjunction with the 3D creative lead.
- Liaising with suppliers (where required).
- International travel to event locations may be a requirement of this role to help implement the project and maintain the vision.

- You are fully accustomed to working in large scale brand installations, live events and/or exhibition environments.
- You have an aptitude for Creativity and Imagination.
- You have the ability to manage your own workload and delegate when necessary.
- You’re able to take a brief and to brief colleagues.
- You are eager to continue learning, improve your personal development and to inspire others.
- You have a portfolio of 3D work demonstrating a breadth of experience across exhibition/interior/experiential design.
- You have the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and the ability to build and own relationships with external clients (if required).
- You are able to work with speed on projects with firm milestones and deadlines, whilst at all times maintaining the highest level of detail and adhering to the standards and processes set out within the department.
- You have the ability to step into a project at any stage and quickly assess the requirements and skills needed.
- You are creative, talented and multi-skilled.
Your background, skills and experience
- Strong design skills to translate the creative into 3D solutions.
- Strong skills in 3D packages, Vectorworks and SketchUp are essential.
- Be able to create detailed technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Adobe CS and visualisation / rendering packages such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and/or Twinmotion is an advantage.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Good presentation skills for internal, supplier and client presentations.
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- An understanding of the technical, health and safety requirements of event space planning.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of studio experience.
- Extensive knowledge of creating floor plans and understanding large scale events is essential.
- Experience working in a high paced and demanding studio.
- Solid practical knowledge to develop all aspects of a project from design, floor planning, to implementation.
- Awareness of material properties, structural logic, and construction principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Honest, responsible, diligent, organised and knowledgeable.
