As 3D Design Director you will lead the discipline for large scale projects/event programmes and collaborate with other 3D Design Directors to lead the discipline within the creative department. Inspiring and managing the team to create designs that change audience behaviour and experimenting with new techniques that will engage our audiences.

- Lead the discipline from the initial design concept through to delivery.
- Consistently deliver successful solutions and high-quality work and understand how to deliver the best for client’s objectives and budgets.
- Take advantage of the strategic input on briefs to immerse within the client’s business, audience, and objectives.
- Identify, understand their commercial and internal challenges to inspire and deliver effective solutions that consider the holistic needs of the brand.
- Use your experience and knowledge to advise on the time needed and resource skills required to execute design effectively.
- Learn new skills and stay abreast of software developments, and successfully share and apply them to our practices to help improve processes and procedures and be effective with time.
- Continually develop practices and processes to inspire, innovate and harness new thinking.
- Work closely with the Technical Production team to ensure smooth workflow across the lifecycle of a project.
- Develop new AI enabled workflows and implement across the design process.
- Ensure design thinking and craft are of the highest quality across all phases of the project and that the views and concerns of colleagues are understood and addressed.
- Mentor other members of the team, helping them achieve their ambitions, improve, and expand their skills with the ultimate goal of creating the most exciting and inspiring work.
- Ensure your team have clear progression plans and work with the creative leadership to ensure they are being given the opportunities for growth.
- Represent GPJ by connecting with new talent and inspiring the next generation of creatives.

- Expert knowledge of environmental design with a focus on live experiences.
- Trained in Vectorworks and Twinmotion.
- Considerable experience designing conferences and exhibitions for global brands.
- Experience in, and enthusiasm for, designing experiences from brief to delivery and beyond.
- Expert knowledge of design tools and the ability to share this expertise with others.
