About the Role

As Associate Producer you will play an important part in implementing our clients’ objectives. In collaboration with colleagues in the Strategy & Planning, Creative and Digital disciplines, you will work within the Integrated Production team to deliver the project on time, on budget and on brief. You will support in championing your area of Integrated Production expertise within the business, balancing the needs to provide excellent service to our clients, commercial success for GPJ and the continued growth and development of your competency across the agency’s Integrated Production team.

Operational Delivery

  • Manage small scale projects, or project areas, from end to end, including the alignment of all relevant internal stakeholders needed to ensure a successful delivery.
  • Inputting into key project planning documents such as timelines and budgets across all allocated workstreams and projects.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Lead, proactively raising any risks, issues or concerns and collaboratively work towards a solution.
  • Ongoing management of suppliers, in response to specific project and business needs.
  • Overall accountability for the quality of work delivered, providing operational expertise as required.
  • Providing additional production support across the Integrated Production Department as required e.g., pitches, new business proposals etc.

Creative

  • Responsible for ensuring cross-team collaboration from design through to implementation.
  • Understanding of the creative process, using the correct project documentation to brief and manage creative workstreams.
  • Attend key meetings and provide input / expertise related to client needs.

Talent Management

  • Understand and demonstrate knowledge of the various skill sets and abilities across the Integrated Production department.
  • Able to clearly articulate, and meet performance objectives.
  • Actively participate in and champion personal and department-wide Learning and Development opportunities.

Client Relationships

  • Contribute towards the client relationship via the successful delivery and management of your own work streams and deliverables.
  • Where necessary, partner with specialists across strategy, creative, digital and production as well as with account managers, so they can manage client expectations accordingly.
  • Demonstrate an active understanding of a client’s objectives.

New Business Development

  • Support the pitch lead when required, by managing relevant Integrated Production elements of the pitch process - ie venue searches.
  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate support and guidance on RFPs.
  • Actively promote GPJ through best practice.

Finance

  • Accountable for accuracy within budget estimates for all project deliverables within your remit.
  • Inputting into budgets/ estimates, managing/reconciling budgets.
  • Contribute towards the ongoing management of project forecasting.
  • Responsible for obtaining reviewing and responding to vendor quotes, ensuring we work with best in class partners and vendors, with regular negotiations to drive value, profitability and efficiency.
  • Accountable for POs creation/ distribution.
  • Identify and escalate potential budget/ financial issues.
  • Understand and effectively manage PO and supplier invoicing processes.
  • Understand and take initial steps to address impact of changes on project budget and financial metrics, with limited guidance.
