The Role
We are seeking an experienced, sharp, and highly organized Transport Planner to take control of our daily routing and fleet scheduling. Managing a multi-category fleet of vehicles requires a dynamic planner who can think on their feet, optimize vehicle utilization, and maintain excellent driver relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Scheduling: Route and schedule a diverse 25-vehicle fleet (tippers, grabs, skips, bins, sweepers, and artics) to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Driver Management: Act as the main point of contact for drivers, providing clear daily briefings, de-briefings, and managing live on-the-road issues.
