Now, we're looking for a proactive and capable Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to help deliver the next generation of landmark projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate site teams across multiple high-profile projects
  • Ensure every element of GJ work meets our exceptional standards and stays on programme
  • Take commercial responsibility, including monthly valuations and final accounts
  • Act as the face of George Jackson, building trusted relationships with clients and project teams
  • Review drawings, programmes and specifications, and create accurate GJ sub-programmes
  • Manage material call-offs from our workshop to keep production and site running smoothly
  • Maintain exceptional safety, organisation and professionalism on site
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments and project documentation

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, interiors or specialist trades an advantage, but not essential
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills — clear, professional and client friendly
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and programmes of works
