About this Role
Take responsibility for agreed learning activities under a system of supervision to complement teachers. Monitor pupils and assess, record, and report on pupils’ achievement, progress, and development as agreed with teachers. Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups, or on a short‑term basis for whole classes. Collaborate with external therapists and specialists (e.g., occupational therapists, physiotherapists) to implement and embed therapy programmes and recommendations consistently across the school. Support pupils’ therapeutic development by assisting in sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy, while maintaining clear communication between staff teams to ensure high‑quality, coordinated provision.
A successful candidate will hold an enhanced DBS check, including the barred list, and will adhere to the Safeguarding Policy and other required procedures.
