Our ideal candidate will be an outstanding Teacher of French with a strong academic background in French and holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They should be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, showing genuine enthusiasm for French and a strong dedication to creating an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere.
The candidate must be able to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our children, challenging them to achieve beyond their expectations and supporting them to become lifelong learners. They should employ data-informed approaches to tailor instruction and maximise pupil progress, and be willing and committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice.

Job Purpose:
To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the Academy's policies under the direction of the Principal. The candidate should be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, can teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development, and has pupils who achieve well.
They will be a member of the Languages Curriculum Team and, under the direction of the Programme Leader/Teacher of Faculty, contribute to the high standards of teaching and learning and the raising of standards of achievement. The candidate will make a significant contribution to the vision and direction of George Eliot Academy, where innovative and inspirational learning for all is the core value.
