As we continue to develop our digital presence and direct relationship with our fans, we are looking for an ambitious E-commerce & Digital Executive to join our team.

The Role

This is a broad, hands‑on position that sits at the heart of the George Cox business.

You will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of our digital channels, helping drive commercial performance whilst supporting the wider brand strategy.

Working closely with the Managing Director and external partners, you will gain exposure across e‑commerce trading, digital marketing, content creation, CRM, forecasting, reporting and social media.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to play a meaningful role within a growing independent brand.

  • Work alongside our digital agency to manage paid search and social activity and develop new global opportunities
  • Support campaign planning and performance analysis
  • Manage email marketing, both automated and broadcast campaigns (through Ometria)
  • Develop fan acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Create creative briefs and coordinate the production of digital assets, photography, and product imagery

Commercial Reporting

  • Produce weekly and monthly trading reports
  • Monitor website performance and key commercial KPIs

About You

You are commercially minded, organised, and proactive, with a genuine interest in fashion, footwear, culture or subcultures.

You enjoy combining creative thinking with analytical decision‑making and are comfortable taking ownership of projects from concept through to execution.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience within e‑commerce, digital marketing or a related commercial role
  • Experience working with Shopify or similar e‑commerce platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and copywriting abilities
  • An understanding of social media and digital content creation

Why Join George Cox?

This is an opportunity to work with one of Britain's most influential footwear brands during an exciting period of development.

Unlike larger organisations, you will have visibility across the entire business and the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure across multiple areas of the business and help shape the future of a brand with a unique place in British fashion and culture.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to go beyond their job description when needed, embraces responsibility and is excited by the opportunities that come with working in a small, ambitious team.
