The Role
As a Graduate Electronics Engineer, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing to the design, development and testing of electronic products from concept through to production. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with electronic circuit design and development
- Supporting PCB schematic capture, layout and testing activities
- Developing and debugging embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems
- Conducting product validation, verification and fault-finding activities
- Supporting prototype builds and laboratory testing
- Producing technical documentation and engineering reports
- Collaborating with hardware, software and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
What We're Looking For
We're looking for enthusiastic graduates with a passion for electronics and technology. You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related discipline
- A strong understanding of electronic circuit principles
- Exposure to PCB design tools through university projects or placements
- Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware development
- Experience with C/C++ programming would be advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial but is not essential:
- PCB layout software (Altium, KiCad, Eagle or similar)
- Microcontrollers and embedded firmware development
- Digital and analogue electronics
- Communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART or CAN
- Test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analysers
