Junior CNC Turner – Precision Engineering (Wokingham) Salary: Negotiable | Location: Wokingham | Daytime Hours Only A long-established Precision Engineering company with a fantastic reputation is looking to bring in a Junior CNC Turner / Trainee Machinist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience of lathes or machining who wants to develop their skills further in a supportive, highly skilled workshop. The Role: * Assisting with the programming, setting and operating of Mazak CNC lathes * Working with experienced machinists who will provide full training on Mazatrol programming * Producing precision components for the Oil & Gas and Aerospace sectors * Working with a range of materials including Stainless Steel, Inconel, Super Duplex, and Aluminium Bronze What we’re looking for: * Some prior experience on manual or CNC lathes (college, apprenticeship, or workshop background) * Keen to learn CNC machining and progress in your career * Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work What’s on offer: * Full training on Mazak/Mazatrol machines * Excellent salary package (negotiable depending on experience) * Day shifts only – no nights or weekends * Long-term career growth in a respected engineering business If you’ve got lathe experience and want to take your machining career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you
