Do you want to join a team of passionate and creative print designers? This exciting Print Designer opportunity is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for creating and developing a commercial trend led print collection that meets customer and market needs. Working collaboratively with the print and design team to manage the print department’s design critical path to ensure timely delivery of samples. You’ll also oversee and create print development for one or more categories, from concept to final product, ensuring it aligns with seasonal trends and brand direction.

Your Role

  • Creating a customer-focused, market-leading print range for your department, focusing on seasonal launches and key events.
  • Managing multiple projects, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Accountable for managing and ensuring the print areas they oversee hit critical path and meet customer needs.
  • Designing innovative prints that meet both creative and commercial goals, responding to feedback from stakeholders.
  • Conducting market research, analysing competitors, and attending trade shows to keep designs aligned with trends and brand identity.
  • Creating mood boards and presenting design concepts to the team, ensuring clarity in design vision and commercial appeal.
  • Creating and sending accurate print design tech packs to the manufacturing team.
  • Responsible for developing colour palettes for the department and key business events each season.
  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships, understanding product placement – right place/right product.
  • Preparing for and participating in key department meetings, such as Product Vision, Design Presentation, and Range Build.
  • After meetings, you will be responsible for making the relevant print amendments, collaborating with the garment designers to action changes with the suppliers.
