Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team at a secondary school in Warrington. This full-time position offers a daily rate of £150 to £250, depending on experience and qualifications. You will play a critical role in shaping the educational journey of young learners, creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the national curriculum.

Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing feedback that promotes growth and understanding.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.

Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development sessions.

Encourage a growth mindset and love of learning among students, promoting participation in extra-curricular Maths-related activities.

RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. A proactive approach, with strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.

Strong commitment to personal and professional development. A valid DBS check or the willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
