Mold and Tooling Technician β Second Shift

Base pay range
$18.00/hr β $24.00/hr
Duties
- Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools.
- Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to result in more efficient operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills
- Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
- Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions.
- Understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.
Education And Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, associate degree preferred.
- Prior injection mold tool maintenance and assembly experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally move objects weighing in excess of 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk on a regular basis and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to view fine detail, color variation, and depth perception for extended periods.
