Your Tasks:
- Place and negotiate insurance and reinsurance risks (Cargo, H&M, P&I and other marine insurance clients) in the Lloyd’s and London Market.
- Cultivation of existing relationships with clients and underwriters.
- Close collaboration with all broking and the business development teams in the GEORG DUNCKER group.
- Expanding the strategic network of insurer and placing channels, particularly in the Lloyd’s and London Market.
- Supporting and advising clients in the marine and shipping industry.
Your Profile:
- Legally authorized to work in the UK.
- 5+ years marine insurance broking/underwriting experience in the Lloyd’s and London market.
- Strong product knowledge and experience across the marine insurance sector.
- Significant relationships with senior leaders across the insurance and/or marine, shipping, commodity trading and energy industry.
- Healthy insurer network and/or strong connections within shipping/marine/energy/commodity trading sectors and ability to drive optimal outcomes.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
- Team player and ability to collaborate closely with colleagues in various offices.
