To support this objective, we are looking for a highly motivated Marine Insurance Technician for our UK branch (London).
Your Tasks:
- Providing back-office support to our broking teams
- Setting up files and handling all insurance contract documents (Cargo, H&M, P&I and other marine insurance products)
- Maintaining and validating contract and portfolio data
- Communicating with brokers, underwriters, insurers and international clients
- Managing premium accounting, invoicing and payment reconciliations
- Supporting placement and renewal processes
- Collaborating closely with broking teams across the Georg Duncker Group
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
Your Profile:
- Legally authorized to work in the UK
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as technician within the Lloyd’s and London insurance market
- Sound knowledge of Hull, Cargo and/or P&I insurance products
- Proven experience in premium processing and the ability to provide technical insurance expertise and support
- Accurate, organized and proactive working style with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Strong proficiency in London Market systems and insurance technology platforms (PPL/Whitespace & Xchanging)
