Marine Insurance Technician (m/f/d)

To support this objective, we are looking for a highly motivated Marine Insurance Technician for our UK branch (London).

Your Tasks:

• Providing back-office support to our broking teams
• Setting up files and handling all insurance contract documents (Cargo, H&M, P&I and other marine insurance products)
• Maintaining and validating contract and portfolio data
• Communicating with brokers, underwriters, insurers and international clients
• Managing premium accounting, invoicing and payment reconciliations
• Supporting placement and renewal processes
• Collaborating closely with broking teams across the Georg Duncker Group
• Monitoring and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements

Your Profile:

• Legally authorized to work in the UK
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as technician within the Lloyd’s and London insurance market
• Sound knowledge of Hull, Cargo and/or P&I insurance products
• Proven experience in premium processing and the ability to provide technical insurance expertise and support
• Accurate, organized and proactive working style with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment
• Strong proficiency in London Market systems and insurance technology platforms (PPL/Whitespace & Xchanging)
