Due to rapid market expansion in the UK and Europe, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for our data center business in the UK market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed company objectives in the UK market.
- Identify new business opportunities and create strategies to capture and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders (hybrid of remote and in-person engagement).
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams remotely to ensure customer needs are met and projects are successfully delivered.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of managerial experience in sales or business development within the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, and BESS solutions).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of European market regulations and renewable energy industry trends.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools; ability to adapt to remote work.
- Team player with openness to exploring different cultures.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Southern Europe as required.
