Our Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) deliver reliable, zero‑emission electricity where it’s needed most.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct service, maintenance, testing and calibration activities on our UPSs, which are integrated in our HPU fleet – both on customer and internal premises.
  • Fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on UPSs, batteries, switchgear, control systems and associated critical electrical / mechanical equipment.
  • Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, investigations and inspections of UPS, batteries, switchgear, control systems, generators and associated electrical / mechanical equipment.
  • Write maintenance reports.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of safe working practices and uphold our company’s Health & Safety policies.
  • Demonstrate technical excellence, exceptional attention to detail and pride in the quality of work.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Travel frequently to sites in the UK and worldwide.
  • Maintain flexible working to handle repairs outside core office hours.
  • Self‑define priorities while managing both office and onsite tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant experience working on UPS systems.
  • Qualified Electrician or Degree‑qualified electrical engineer/related subject.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UPS systems.
  • In‑depth knowledge of electrical fault finding.
  • Excellent communication and fault‑finding skills.
  • ECS Gold Card (desirable).
  • Experience of Borri/Legrand is highly desirable.
  • Valid, full UK driving licence.
