About the role:
- Project Management & Customer Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-value manufacturing projects
- Be the main point of contact for customers during production
- Manage timelines, updates, risks, and daily communication
- Review technical drawings, 3D files, and specifications (with engineering support where needed)
- Coordinate with our hubs in India, China, Portugal, and the UK to ensure smooth execution
- Prevent delays, escalate issues early, and ensure successful on-time customer delivery
- Award purchase orders to the right manufacturing partners
- Negotiate pricing to protect and improve margins
- Handle technical clarifications with suppliers prior to awarding
- Allocate orders to suppliers based on capability, risk, and hub performance
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers globally
- Apply and improve operational standards and delivery processes
- Support contract reviews and commercial terms for customers and suppliers
- Ensure all projects follow internal quality, traceability, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with the Quality team on Non-Conformances and corrective actions
- Support the implementation of new processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing project management or production engineering, preferably across CNC machining, injection moulding or sheet metal.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and machining processes.
- Experience preparing or validating quotes for precision-engineered parts.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; comfortable in fast-paced, high-variability environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Monday.com, Jira, or ERP systems is a plus.
