Geologic AI is redefining how mining companies understand and unlock value from their deposits.

We deliver advanced rock and resource analytics that transform physical core into high-resolution, decision-ready data.

Our integrated solutions combine next-generation core scanning, purpose-built visualization and modelling, and deep geoscience and mining domain expertise.

The result is faster insight, reduced uncertainty, and better-informed decisions from exploration through production and closure.

Our vision is simple: enable risk-informed decision-making that drives efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.

By elevating data quality and consistency at the source, we empower our clients to extract deeper value from every meter of core and every decision that follows.

We focus on building strong, long-term partnerships with mining companies around the world.

If you’re driven by impact, innovation, and continuous learning, we invite you to join us on the journey to transform how the mining industry sees its rocks.

What You'll Do

This is our first dedicated recruitment role, supporting our continued growth across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will own professional, technical and operational hiring globally, across a business that spans software, hardware, geoscience, field operations and corporate roles.

Sourcing is the heart of this role.

The people we need are rarely looking.

Our talent pools are small and split between two very different markets, one competing for technology talent and one for mining and operations talent.

Few of our best hires will come from a job advert.

You will spend a significant part of every week building relationships long before we have a role to offer, reaching out to people who are perfectly happy where they are, and making a case compelling enough that they want to hear more.

Along with a high volume of searches, you will shape how we hire into something structured and measurable as we scale.

You will also work closely with our senior leaders to understand their teams properly, so that you are selecting not only for technical capability but for the people who will genuinely thrive alongside them.

What We'll Love About You

You are energized by the search.

You get real satisfaction from convincing someone who was not looking that this is worth a conversation, and you have the patience to foster a relationship until the timing is right.

You are equally comfortable filling a role and improving how we fill it.

You have worked somewhere that grew fast, and you know what good looks like when the playbook is still being written.

You hold a high bar even under volume, and you are confident enough to challenge a hiring decision when the evidence supports it.

You build trust quickly with senior leaders and become someone they think with rather than someone they hand requisitions to.

That is how you end up with a real view of what each team needs, and who will do well in it.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Source proactively as our primary way of hiring.

Engage and convert people who are not looking, in small and specialist talent markets, and build talent maps for hard-to-fill and repeat roles.

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical and operational roles globally, from intake through to offer.
  • Run multiple concurrent searches at pace, without compromising quality, rigour or candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles and coach them through interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Own our recruitment process and produce the materials behind it: scorecards, interview questions and guides, and offers prepared for approval.
  • Own recruitment metrics, including funnel conversion, time to fill, pass-through rates, source effectiveness and offer acceptance, and use them to change how we hire rather than simply to report on it.
  • Partner with Marketing to build an employer brand that speaks to two distinct audiences: technology talent and mining and operations talent.
  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects how we want to be known in tightly connected industries where reputation travels quickly.

Must Have Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Deep, demonstrable sourcing capability in specialist or technical markets where the best people are not applying to job ads.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle, in-house recruitment experience in a startup, scale-up or otherwise fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Recruitment experience in Technology or Mining. Bonus if you have both!
  • A track record of high-volume delivery without a drop in quality, across multiple concurrent searches and different types of roles.
  • Evidence of building, not just running.

You have created or meaningfully improved a recruitment process, whether that is structured interviewing, scorecards, an ATS implementation, sourcing workflows or hiring manager enablement.

  • Experience hiring across multiple countries and employment jurisdictions and comfort working across time zones and cultures.
  • Experience using AI tools to build something in your own recruiting practice and the ability to explain what you built and what changed as a result.
  • Comfort with recruitment data, and the ability to use it to influence a hiring manager rather than only to report on activity.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal. Occasional travel may be required, for example to visit a site to understand our field operations first hand, or to attend a hiring or industry event.

Benefits from Working at Geologic AI

  • A casual and fun work environment
  • Flexible schedule and opportunities for remote work
