An exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside three experienced partners, who have a breadth of expertise that covers even the most complicated disputes. The successful candidate will be delivering high-quality legal services to the firm’s clients on a variety of contentious matters.
The successful candidate will be able to conduct their own case load whilst assisting the Partners in providing advice and proactive service to the firm’s clients.
As an excellent communicator, you will excel at building strong working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure the service provided is delivered in a timely fashion, managing costs and clients’ expectations.
In this role you will be required to take responsibility for credit control on matters as well as achieving targets for billing and time recording.
A self sufficient individual with excellent IT skills and ability to develop positive relationships with a strong focus on marketing and networking for business development.
Department specific
To manage a varied caseload of contentious matters, including:
- Breach of contract
- Partnership and shareholder disputes
- Intellectual property litigation
- Professional negligence claims
- Insolvency
Experience
We are looking for an experienced Litigator with 5+ years’ PQE. However, less experienced candidates who can prove they have the skills and qualities needed will be considered.
Experience of contentious probate matters would be an advantage.
Effective communicator both oral and written, who has excellent knowledge and understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct and other relevant regulatory requirements.
