Working as part of the pricing team, the Pricing Coordinator is responsible for the daily support of the GEODIS network and Pricing Manager to ensure customer demands are met. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Forwarding activity
- Quotations
- Bill queries
- Reporting
The role requires attention to detail and business acumen. The Pricing Coordinator's duties include:
- Providing pricing and ad hoc rates to overseas partner offices and BDMs
- Quoting all spot shipments from the GEODIS network and tenders that cannot be answered with MSR or self-serve tools
- Reporting and analyzing quote statistics (success rate)
- Transitioning information of won shipments to the appropriate operations team
- Creating and maintaining pricing tools (spreadsheets, calculators, databases)
- Informing support teams of pricing updates for systems like WWICs, CargoWise-1, GeoBid, etc.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
Essential technical experience includes:
- Vocational working and thinking level
- Strong numeracy skills
- Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Good knowledge of freight products and operational processes (import and export air, sea, and road)
- High level of MS Excel skills
- Fully PC literate and able to use various platforms and software
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
