Position requirements and constraints:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30, 37.5 hours per week

Job description:

  • Responsible for effective/efficient working practices with the customers.
  • Constantly looking to improve GW margins (reduce costs – increase profits).
  • All day to day operational activities for named account.
  • Oversee and manage SLA and contracts between client and Geodis to ensure customs compliance at all times.
  • Responsible for extensive reporting including monthly customs reports.
  • Execution of strategic plans to develop and maintain long-term partnership with the customer and their nominated stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings on and off site to develop relationship with customer and other stakeholders.
  • Working with supply chain management teams where applicable.
  • Control over customer interactions in the form of volumes, revenues, and also profitability. All of these are measured on a monthly basis.
  • Act as the customer's ambassador internally at Geodis.
  • Sell complete solutions and concepts in collaboration with internal colleagues and Management.
  • Capitalize on all sales activities within the organisation.
  • Organise and work in a project management type approach.
  • Use cultural difference to positive effect.
  • Keep internal organisation and Management informed of activities and customer situations.
  • Work according to the customer and country budget targets.
  • Contribute to development of team.
  • Any other responsible tasks as requested by branch management.
