Position requirements and constraints:
- Monday to Friday, 13:30 to 22:00, 30 minutes unpaid break
- 40 hours per week
Job description:
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined SSOW procedures
- Achieve quality metrics and productivity goals daily
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Work from an order picking sheet
- Put goods away and pick goods from the correct location
- Proactively communicate with Managers about daily activities and obstacles
- Sort and place materials or items into racking
- Follow workplace Health and Safety rules when handling goods and report Hazards/Incidents
- Picking orders using hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing
- Preparing picked goods in packing area
- Report any damage or missing goods to the warehouse management team
- Keep a clean and safe environment and optimise space utilisation
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times
Applicant's profile:
- Basic English and Maths Education
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Flexible attitude to work and hours
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience
- Basic knowledge of computer programs and warehouse management systems
- Must have a valid fork lift license
