Job description:
- Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
- Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters
- Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality
- Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain
- Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse to ensure proper arrangement of stock
- Carry out stock management operations in line with set product policies and procedures
- Utilize specialized programs in maintaining record of store execution performance
- Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimizing losses
- Oversee the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are delivered on time
- Support the operation in exception investigation and management
- Support delivery of process improvement through continuous improvement methodology
- Complete all administrative duties efficiently and accurately within given timeframes
- Investigate stock discrepancies and report information to Warehouse Supervisor
Applicant's profile:
- Essential Education and/or Training: English and Maths Education
- 2 years' experience in a Stock department/with inventory processes
- Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of spreadsheet programs and computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Ability to read and write simple instructions
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to work well under pressure
