Customer Success Manager – SEO/AIO LLM strategies
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Success Manager – SEO/AIO LLM strategies to join our dynamic team and take ownership of client relationships, account management & performance, for our Google Business Profile optimisation and AIO LLM products, including the creation of bespoke SEO, AIO & LLM strategies.
Role Overview
The Customer Success Manager – SEO/AIO LLM strategies will take ownership of client account management & relationships, campaign and account performance management, for Google Business Profile optimisation & AIO LLM strategy including the creation of bespoke SEO, AIO & LLM strategies.
The CSM will act as the primary point of contact for their accounts, leading strategy creation, discussions and managing the implementation, overseeing campaign delivery, and building trusted, client relationships.
This role combines Customer Success account management, including the creation of bespoke SEO & LLM AIO strategies using industry-leading tools and their own knowledge and experience. You will work closely with our wider CSM team, to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively, leading to improved customer online visibility across Google and LLM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong long-term relationships through excellent communication and organisational skills and maintaining high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Lead onboarding for new customers, ensuring they understand campaign objectives, deliverables, and timelines and uploading key information to business software platforms.
- Develop and manage SEO strategies tailored to each client’s commercial goals and growth targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor, confidently presenting recommendations, performance insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Campaign Delivery & Performance
- Oversee the successful execution of Google & SEO/AIO campaigns across Google, Technical SEO, On-page optimisation, content, and local SEO activity.
- Work closely with the SEO team to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standards.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyse data and translate performance into clear, actionable insights for clients.
- Prepare and deliver bi-monthly reports, client calls, and strategic review meetings alongside ad hoc customer ‘check‑ins’ and tasks.
Client Growth & Retention
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional marketing services and campaign enhancements.
- Manage client retention by ensuring strong communication, measurable success, and building confidence and trust with clients by clearly communicating the relationship between SEO efforts and business results.
- Collaborate with internal CSM team, SEO teams and external client marketing teams to ensure joined up campaign delivery.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and delivery teams, removing blockers and managing expectations effectively.
- Gather client feedback and share insights internally to improve processes, services, and campaign performance.
Industry Knowledge & Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with SEO, AIO & LLM trends, Google algorithm updates, and wider digital marketing developments.
- Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches into client strategies and campaign execution.
Key Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in Customer Success Management positions, customer success, or digital marketing account management, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, local SEO, and experience managing multiple client accounts and delivering measurable campaign results.
SEO & Marketing Knowledge
- Familiarity with SEO and marketing tools.
- Ability to interpret SEO and marketing data and communicate findings clearly to clients.
- Understanding of wider digital marketing channels including paid media, content marketing, and social media is beneficial.
- Knowledge and ability to understand and use LLM platforms, for business tasks.
Communication & Organisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts in a simple and engaging way.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident leading client meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions.

Qualifications

- Experience in a customer-facing role; background in digital marketing or SEO is desirable.
Google Analytics or other digital marketing certifications.
Experience working within a fast‑paced agency environment.
Knowledge of Google Business Profile optimisation and local SEO, AIO and LLM strategies.
Experience mentoring junior team members is a bonus.
