Join our Team and make a difference. We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of Prisoner Custody Officers who must have a Driving Licence in our Greenock Sheriff Court. - Flexible Hours: 35-hour contracts per week, including opportunities for regular overtime.
- Annual Earnings: £25,501.84 per year (full time equivalent based on 35 hours) plus overtime

Key Responsibilities
- The people in your care and custody will have a variety of different needs and it will be your role to ensure they are met, and those individuals are treated with dignity and respect whilst maintaining a safe, secure, and structured environment.
- You have full responsibility for the physical and mental wellbeing of adults in your care, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing is a priority.
- You will liaise with court authorities and other officers that have transported individuals from Prison or Police custody, ensuring all documentation is completed and correct, carrying out risk assessments on vulnerable or at-risk prisoners.
- You'll work as part of a team to make sure all those in custody are safe, looked after and arrive in the court dock on time.
- You'll help to maintain security and order in the court room and custody suite.
- You'll maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation related to prisoner movements within the court environment.
- You'll be part of a team that will search individuals, cells, and areas of the custody suites and maintain a clean, safe and secure environment.
