About the Role

Geo-Structural Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our renewables team in a dual-role position combining HGV MEWP operation and hands-on wind turbine blade work (under the instruction of the lead blade repair technician, no blade repair experience is required). This is not a machine operator-only role. The successful candidate will be expected to operate a 90m truck-mounted MEWP and actively carry out blade inspection, repair, and upgrade activities at height.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manoeuvre a 90m truck-mounted MEWP safely and efficiently
  • Working under the instruction of the lead blade repair technician:
    • Installation of aerodynamic upgrades
    • Leading edge protection (LEP) installation
    • Composite repairs
    • Blade inspections and defect assessments
  • Assist with site setup, risk assessments, and planning
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSE and company procedures
  • Maintain equipment and support site operations as required
  • Work as part of a small, multi-skilled team on wind farm sites across the UK

Essential Requirements

  • HGV Class C licence (with CPC)
  • IPAF
  • Proven experience in the operation of large truck-mounted MEWP's
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home
