Brackley, Northamptonshire (Commutable from Northampton, Daventry, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Banbury)
Upto £25,000 Per Annum Dependent On Qualifications/experience
We are a geotechnical, SI and geo-environmental consultancy. We are looking for a practical, self-starting, flexible individual who is looking for a different career opportunity. Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full clean driving licence.
Within the role, your main responsibilities will be:-
- Helping geologists on site with in-situ testing and sample collection
- Visiting sites after the main fieldwork period to monitor gas and groundwater levels from instruments installed
- Geological data entry and presentation in borehole logs
- Keeping control of office and site supplies
- Ensuring site equipment is calibrated annually and kept in good order
- Ensuring company vehicles are serviced, taxed and MOTed and kept in good order
Candidates will be expected to be practical, self-starting, flexible and enjoy working outside for parts of the job, but we do not require any specific qualifications, although an interest in physical geography or geology would be an advantage. You must however have a full UK driving license and be eligible to work in the UK
