Geo Green Power are a leading renewable energy company that specialise in Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and low-carbon heat pump installations. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEO and GEO Manager to help amplify our online presence, enhance brand awareness, and contribute to the growth of our renewable energy initiatives.

We are looking for a talented and results-driven SEO and GEO Manager to lead our organic search strategy and enhance our digital marketing efforts in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising our website and content to ensure high visibility on search engines, increasing organic traffic, and driving qualified leads. They will also take a forward-looking approach by exploring the opportunities of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI-driven search, ensuring our brand remains discoverable as search behaviour evolves.

This permanent position is well suited to an individual who may already has extensive knowledge of the renewables industry and is looking to join a growing business and be a key part of our team. We would consider candidates with SEO/GEO experience in different industries.

Role and responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives organic traffic to the website.

On-Page Optimisation: Optimise website content, landing pages, blog posts, and product/service pages to improve search rankings and ensure SEO/GEO-friendly site architecture.

Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify key opportunities for ranking improvement. Continuously optimise keyword targeting to drive high-quality organic traffic.

Content Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to create and optimise engaging and informative content related to renewable energy topics, ensuring it ranks well for relevant search terms.

GEO & AI SEO: Lead initiatives in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI-driven search. Optimise content for AI-powered search engines and answer engines, ensuring visibility in conversational search, voice search, and generative AI responses. Leverage AI tools and analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and adapt to shifts in user behaviour and search engine algorithms.

Key requirements (qualifications and skills)

· Hands-on SEO experience, managerial is preferred, with a proven track record of driving organic growth and improving search rankings, preferably in the energy or sustainability sector

· Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices

· Strong awareness of emerging practices in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI-driven search, with the ability to integrate them into long-term SEO strategy

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Enthusiastic, disciplined and well organised

· Degree level qualifications are not essential, judgement will be based on experience
