Genus ABS is looking for a Reproduction Management Specialist to deliver reproductive services to customer farms across the Welshpool area in Wales. The role requires a customer‑focused mindset, passion for agriculture, and a love for working outdoors with livestock. You will support customers’ herds, build strong professional relationships, and contribute to herd fertility and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer herds to heat‑detect cows and analyze computer records before artificially inseminating the appropriate animals.
- Support the farm team to improve fertility within the herd; producing healthier and more productive cows to meet business goals.
- Work with colleagues to provide outstanding customer service and animal health and welfare; increasing customer loyalty to Genus ABS products and services.
- Make informed decisions based on the genetic plan, animal behaviour and data available; identify solutions and present recommendations to improve personal and team performance.
Requirements
- Full driving licence.
- Previous work experience with livestock or large animals.
- Willingness to work on a rota basis, 7 days a week, including some early starts.
- Ability to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future.
