We are looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Operative Specialist to support the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of high‑value, temperature‑sensitive genetic assets. Precision, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety and quality standards are required. You must meet strict deadlines in a regulated, safety‑focused environment. Full training and support will be provided. A 5‑year employment check and DBS check are required before hiring.

Working Info and Patterns

  • Core working pattern of approximately 36–40 hours per week, structured across Monday to Friday
  • Typical daily start times range from 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with finish times between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm
  • Early finish on Fridays (typically midday)
  • Includes a paid lunch break on full working days

You Will

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage goods‑in and goods‑out processes
  • Conduct stock management, stock taking, and inventory checks
  • Store, handle, and process genetic materials preserved in liquid nitrogen
  • Prepare shipments in line with country‑specific export and packaging requirements (EU and international)
  • Ensure all orders meet strict distribution deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and shipment details
  • Operate within safety protocols when handling hazardous materials, including use of PPE
  • Support warehouse operations across UK sites and global distribution channels
  • Handle and distribute liquid nitrogen‑stored genetic assets across UK and international markets
  • Manage large volumes of inventory, including millions of individual assets annually
  • Work with a wide range of items and storage locations
  • Prepare multiple export shipments per week with varying quantities and packaging requirements
  • Operate within a high‑value supply chain with strict accuracy and compliance expectations
