We are looking for a farm bookkeeper to join our team in the Farm Business Analyst Team in Cheshire. You will join our growing team to provide services to farming clients.
Your ideal location will be Cheshire. You can expect a typical day to include driving to the farm and then working closely with the farmer in their office.
To be a highly qualified candidate, you will be exceptionally organised with the ability to manage your own diary and client base autonomously and flexibly. You will have an agricultural background as well as bookkeeping experience, balancing credits and debits for the farmer's business.
This role is to cover a maternity leave and as such is a 12-month fixed term contract.
You Will:- Visit customer farms and work alongside the clients to complete tasks required, including:
- Data inputting
- VAT returns
- Ledger management and bill payments
- Yearly management accounts
- General administrative support
- Full driving licence
- Demonstrable interest in agriculture
- Experience in bookkeeping and agriculture (Xero software would be great but not essential)
