Overview
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic, analytical and proactive individual to join the Insights team. You will regularly support clients in the Agriculture and Environment Sector, work with government departments and agencies, retailers and food processors, farmer groups and producer organisations as well as individual farmers. You will help them to make informed decisions about their businesses.
You Will
- Collaborate with Promar teams to deliver contracted projects on-time and to the agreed standard
- Actively seek out new business through networks, customer contact and business development opportunities
- Lead and support tender submissions
- Help build transparency, traceability, and supply chain insights – using benchmarking, cost of production and performance data to support on-farm and business improvements
- Provide consultancy that helps clients make informed decisions, evaluate performance, and drive innovation across local and global markets and businesses
- Deliver analysis and project evaluation for client specific work
Requirements
- Agricultural, Food or Bio-science related qualification
- Previous relevant experience within the farming sector is essential
- Experience in Business Development
- Comfortable using and analysing data to formulate reports and recommendations
- Effective use of MS Office package

Tackling climate change
