Role Purpose: To maintain the smooth running of the warehouse, assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight into and out of the warehouse and yard and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods: Responsible for receiving shipments, checking them for damages, and verifying the accuracy of quantities.
- Storing and Organising inventory: Ensure goods are properly stored and organised in designated areas to facilitate efficient retrieval and inventory management.
- Picking and packing orders: Fulfil customer orders by accurately picking the requested items from the inventory, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks: Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery as necessary.
- Maintaining inventory records: Update and maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and any discrepancies found.
- Conducting regular inventory counts: Participate in periodic stocktaking activities to ensure accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or loss.
- Adhering to safety protocols: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents, including the proper use of equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Maintaining cleanliness: Ensure that the warehouse and work areas are kept clean and organised, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborating with team members: Work as part of a team, communicating and coordinating with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Hours Of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30 pm & Friday 8am to 3.30 pm
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in the same or similar role
- Ability to follow instructions

- Entry level ICT and numeracy skills
