We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Business Process Owner to lead the design, standardisation, and continuous improvement of end‑to‑end business processes as part of a major SAP transformation programme. Part of a 2‑year fixed‑term contract, this is a key role within the organisation, responsible for shaping future ways of working, aligning business processes to SAP standard functionality, and ensuring effective integration across process areas. This role will be remote, however there will be an expectation to travel to workshops and the business a few days a week. This is ideal for someone who is located in the Doncaster, Leeds or Sheffield areas.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process Ownership
- Own and manage end‑to‑end business processes and value streams across multiple business areas
- Define process standards, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Ensure business benefits are identified, tracked, and realised
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and operations
- Standardisation & Simplification
- Promote standardisation and simplification across the organisation
- Align business processes to SAP best practice and standard functionality wherever possible
- Review, manage, and resolve exceptions to standard processes
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
- Act as a champion for new ways of working and cultural change
- Lead impact assessments to understand organisational and operational impacts
- Support communication and training activities to enable successful adoption
- Data, Testing & Validation
- Support data cleansing, migration, mapping, and validation activities
- Provide process expertise during reconciliation and data readiness exercises
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, manage, and elevate process or system design issues where required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience owning or leading end‑to‑end business processes within a transformation or ERP environment
- Strong understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics
- Experience aligning business operations to standard system processes and best practice
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Proven ability to drive behavioural change and influence ways of working
- Analytical and solution‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving capability
- Experience working within complex, cross‑functional programmes or organisations
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting SAP transformation or ERP implementation programmes
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Change management and project delivery experience
- Experience developing adoption, readiness, and change plans within large‑scale programmes
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and reporting within a programme environment
