We are seeking an accomplished SAP Technical Delivery & Architecture Manager to take a leading role in delivering a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme. This is a highly strategic and visible opportunity, responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the technical solution across SAP S/4HANA and a complex landscape of integrated systems. You will operate at the heart of a major business transformation, ensuring that technical delivery is aligned to programme objectives while shaping a scalable, future-ready enterprise architecture. This role combines deep technical expertise with senior leadership, requiring engagement across programme governance, executive stakeholders, and external delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end technical delivery of SAP S/4HANA and all associated systems
- Direct multiple technical workstreams, including integration, data, infrastructure and testing
- Define and implement enterprise architecture, including target state and transition roadmaps
- Ensure alignment between technical design and programme delivery milestones
- Oversee and manage systems integrators and third-party delivery partners, holding them accountable for quality and outcomes
- Lead technical governance forums, including design authority and architecture reviews
- Engage at programme and executive level, contributing to steering groups and strategic decision-making
- Oversee cloud environments, SAP administration, performance, and availability management
- Support the transition from programme into BAU support and operational readiness
About You
We’re looking for a technically strong and commercially aware leader who can confidently operate at both strategic and delivery levels. You will bring:
- Extensive experience leading SAP S/4HANA technical delivery within complex transformation programmes
- A strong background in enterprise architecture and solution design
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams and workstreams
- Experience integrating third-party applications within SAP landscapes
- Demonstrated success managing systems integrators and external partners
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with credibility at senior and executive levels
- Experience supporting organisations transitioning from programme delivery into BAU environments
