Role Overview
As an installer you will be responsible for the installation of projects in all departments including Podium Landscaping, Green Roofing & Green Walls. Covering contracts across the London area you will be working with the supervisor, contributing to the overall running of sites and continuous improvement of the business, whilst ensuring that the highest professional, health and safety and quality standards are maintained to continually improve the service offered by Sky Garden.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of green roofs, podiums and green walls, supported by the supervisor.
- Be able to understand construction drawings and identifying and resolving key issues on site.
- Full awareness and understanding of the companies H&S policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Accountability of project delivery on site to the highest standards of quality.
- Encouraging and developing teamwork both across the install teams at Sky Garden.
Skills and Experience
- CSCS Card. Blue card preferred.
- Opportunities to gain further qualifications such as NVQ/SSSTS.
- No experience is required other than a can do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Experience in urban greening/landscaping/commercial construction would be beneficial but not required.
- Methodical, close attention to details.
- Good working with people at all levels within the team.
- Computer literate.
- Willingness to gain knowledge of construction and landscaping and urban greening.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Ability to travel across the UK with regular nights away from home.
