Genuit Group is a UK‑based manufacturing group investing in data, automation and AI to improve how we operate and make decisions. We’re seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to help design and embed practical, scalable AI‑enabled and automated solutions across the organisation.

The role

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on delivery, learning and experimentation. You’ll apply proven automation techniques today while helping the business progressively adopt modern AI, Copilot and agent‑based approaches as part of an evolving data and technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and support automation and AI‑enabled solutions
  • Develop and maintain RPA and traditional automation workflows
  • Build APIs and integrations to connect systems and enable automation
  • Work with modern data platforms to source, transform and serve high‑quality data
  • Embed data governance, quality and lineage into automated solutions
  • Support responsible, ethical and transparent use of AI
  • Work closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate business problems into working solutions

What we’re looking for

  • Experience or hands‑on exposure to RPA or automation technologies
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data pipelines
  • Experience integrating systems via APIs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft automation and data platforms (e.g. Fabric, Data Factory, Copilot)
  • Interest in AI, machine learning or agent‑based approaches (commercial or experimental)
  • Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or operational environment
